MPIX Can Help Get Your Portfolio and You In Shape

In the rat race that our world has become, Americans are increasingly sacrificing their health for a chance to keep up with the Joneses.

Besides striving to survive during the ongoing recession and working like madmen, as a whole, we are certainly the laziest generation that our nation has ever known.

2/3’s of adults are now considered obese and by 2030, some experts believe that the price tag on our gluttony will exceed $860 billion, more than the recent economic stimulus package!

We work, on average, 160 hours more per year than we did in in the 1960’s, and our lives have become an automated maze. It’s gotten so bad in fact that a trip to the mall has been replaced by a click of a mouse and even the effortless task of placing a phone call is taboo for many us who prefer to utilize text messaging as primary medium of communication.

Needless to say, time is certainly of the essence. So much in fact that a recent study revealed that more than 50% of Americans would sacrifice a day’s pay each week for an extra day.

Overweight and Strapped for Time? MPIX.PK May Have a Solution.

As our collective waist line continues to expand while our daily schedules tighten further, products such as the UltraFlex made by MindPix Corp (OTCPK: MPIX) are becoming increasingly compelling from a number of angles.

I was recently introduced to the company and its offering and although both are in their relative infancy, there’s certainly enough substance here to warrant a look from investors.

Let’s start with the product today:

The UltraFlex is a rather innovative new fitness product based upon aerospace technology that provides a unique and effective form of resistance training referred to as Target Perfect Resistance[TM].

It’s basically, a bendable, U-shaped bar or rod-shaped device small enough to fit in your suitcase that can be utilized for a variety of exercises on a whim. The main idea behind it that caught my attention is “the body you want with the time you’ve got”.

According to the company, walking with the product for 20 minutes can increase caloric burn up to 50% for women and more than 70% for men.

In addition to being a great solution for the out-of-shape, out-of-time, typical American, the product appears to have quite a bit more going for it.

It’s Proven - According to the company, the UltraFlex was the Ms. Fitness product of the year ‘07. The device has apparently been around for a few years and received a solid enough response from consumers that MPIX has allocated a significant amount of marketing and manufacturing resources towards it and is now offering it online.

Proven People - The company has enlisted the help of infomercial guru Forbes Riley (http://www.forbesriley.com) and celebrity Mario Lopez (http://www.mariolopez.net) to help build notoriety for the product. To many, this may seem trivial, but in this niche of the advertising market, these are two very well-known spokesperson that consumers relate to and more importantly buy products “from”.

Product Ready to Ship/Test Ads a Success - While many small cap companies rant and rave about revolutionary products that are sure to sell like hot cakes just as soon as they can budget in enough cash to film and air an infomercial, MPIX has already done so and has executed successful “test runs”. According to today’s news release, “live tests” were conducted during Jan and Feb where actual infomercials were aired in target markets resulting in initial product orders.

Surely, time will tell how successful the product is over the longer term, but this is quite promising nonetheless. I highly doubt that the company would dump money into something management felt was anything less than high potential in today’s troubled economy.

Aside from this promising product, MPIX also possesses strengths in the video advertising field as evidenced by the UltraFlex commercial and some of the content on its homepage (http://www.mindpix.com). I’ll delve deeper into this side of the business in my future conversation with management, but the fitness product is what caught my attention here initially. Anything else at this point is icing on the cake.

In a day and age where the country’s leading financial institutions are just about as sp

eculative of plays as start-up pink sheet companies, I’m all for evaluating any and all investment opportunities.

MPIX.PK has attracted my attention due to its compelling fitness product offering that’s positioned to capitalize on the trend towards, unfortunately, a fatter, more time-strapped American consumer. Not to mention the fact that the company has apparently done all of the legwork necessary to launch a successful T.V. ad campaign.

Taking closer look and MindPix Corp (OTCPK: MPIX) for the speculative portion of your portfolio could turn out to be your 2009 winner.

Did you know that lottery sales continue to rise in nearly 1/2 of all U.S. states despite a putrid economic environment? Mounting financial fears are driving American consumers to roll the dice on $1 to $5 daily drawings and scratch tickets in hopes of striking it rich.

The Vehicle of the Future Available Today

“Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe and considered an ideal energy carrier”

– Virginia Commonwealth University

July 25, 2006

Sure, 5 or 10 years from now, next-generation automotive engines will transform high gas prices, carbon emissions, and reliance on foreign oil into a laughable piece of the past. We won’t have to worry about dying from automotive air pollution or wars over fossil fuels and won’t be forced to modify our engines to circumvent $5 per gallon gasoline. The Future of Online Search

– Juniper Research

Just like a Malibu beach house or a Park Avenue condo, a solid and intuitive Internet domain name is prime real estate.

As evidenced by the recent $100 million bid on behalf of Answers.com to acquire Lexico - owner of dictionary.com, thesaurus.com and reference.com - and the $135 million investment that  American Capital Strategies and Austin Ventures put into CreditCards.com - online proprietors are very willing to pay top dollar for high quality domain name portfolios.
