UN Report Warns of Drinking Water Shortage

A report released Tuesday by the UN Intergovernal Panel (IPCC) warns that by 2080, the world could be plagued by starvation and a lack of drinkable water.

For the time being, only an estimated 1% of the world's water supply is now considered fit for drinking. This figure could indeed shrink if steps are not taken to hinder air and water pollution.

Going forward, we plan to dedicate more time to this issue, and companies doing something to make a difference. Check back soon for updated commentary.

USEI Inks Deal with BAF Technologies, Experiences Market Gains

Running up an impressive 57% by 11:12 ET, on volume exceeding 6 million shares in today's market activity, USEI is attracting some serious investor attention. Since the announcement of the ground breaking 54 million dollar contract in Sept of 2006 with PS Natural Gas Company Thailand, things have been all by quiet at US Energy Initiatives Corporation (OTCBB: USEI).

And why would they be? With environmental concerns generating intense global awareness, we are seeing the emergence of a new wave of products that should take us into the next generation . . . and beyond. With the masses not only embracing, but seeking out alternative energy and consumers filling their lives with environmentally friendly products, this sector is becoming more vigorous every day.

It shows in the numbers. In November of 2006, the company reported a 217% growth in revenue and nearly 1300% growth in gross profit for the 9 months ended September 2006 - pretty impressive for a company with an avant-garde product in an emerging market that cannot even yet be fully conceived. Even more impressively, the company reported earlier this month that 2006 total revenues are expected to exceed that of the previous 7 years combined! Maybe USEI was just a little before its time. But its time is now.

Today USEI announced that after years of successful collaboration, BAF Technologies and US Energy Initiatives Corporation (OTCBB: USEI) have inked a major agreement that marks the first attempt to commercialize USEI technology on American soil. This relationship between BAF and USEI is expected to facilitate USEI's domestic expansion as well as lead to a more balanced sales mix between North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.Business

Thriving on Three Continents . . .

With operations currently surging in the Asia-Pacific and European regions,US Energy is rolling out what the company has identified its highest potential domestic opportunity. Through the agreement with BAF, the self- proclaimed "premier provider of natural gas and propane vehicle conversions", USEI plans to assist clients in meeting the growing number of U.S. clean air mandates, including the strictest of all imposed by the California Air Resource Board (CARB).

Different Market Dynamics Require Varying Penetration Strategies . . .

Demand for USEI technologies in the United States is largely driven by the increasing number of laws and mandates requiring cleaner emissions. By developing technologies that meet the regional specific needs of clients across a wide range of markets, USEI is attracting the interest of worldwide industry leaders such as General Motors, PSGas, TruckGas, and now, BAF.

As we already mentioned, USEI's recent deal with General Motors Thailand is expected to bring in approximately $54,000,000 over a five-year period. Coupled with the announcement of a low-end forecast of 2,500 shipped dual-fuel engines in '07, today's agreement represents just one of many mile markers on USEI's road to dual- fuel dominance.

Speaking of mile markers, USEI stands to benefit immensely in its partnership withBAF. Not only does BAF boast a client list that includes the U.S. Department of Defense, the USPS, and the New York State Department of Transportation, BAF also works closely with state and local government in order to assist in compliance with current and future emissions-related mandates.

By partnering with such an established player, US Energy combines its industry leading technology with the expertise of a known solution provider possessing invaluable client and government contacts. This is compounded by USEI's already stacked client list of General Motors, UPS, Dallas and Portland School Systems and Oklahoma Natural Gas, to name a few.

US Energy Initiatives Corp. has emerged over the past several months, from a high potential "think tank" and technology incubator into a leading supplier of alternative fuel technologies with a fast growing, tier-one client and partner base. USEI is poised for a record revenue year in 2007. And for those of you who have this one tucked in your piggy bank, enjoy the ride.

CPNE Surging Past $2 Mark

As of 10:55 ET, Commerce Planet Inc. (OTCBB: CPNE) shares were at $2.07, only one cent off of the day's high of $2.08 (a new 52-week high). We have always speculated that once shares hit the $2 mark, $3 could be a near-term possibility.

With nearly an entire day of trading ahead of us. Could today be the day of the big run for CPNE?

What do you think?

New Message From Nighthawk CEO Doug Saathoff

Good morning to all!

The following press release went out this morning and announces several recent purchases of our NH100 wireless rebooting devices by WisperTel, and Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) based in Denver that has been a Nighthawk client since 2004.

They have continued to grow, and have continued to purchase our devices as they have expanded their network. Our devices save them the time and expense often associated with driving to remote sites to reboot locked up routers or other digital network components. Our devices also ensure that the network is up and serving customers more reliably.

While WisperTel is a public Internet provider, more and more companies are shifting to wireless Internet networks for their own internal communication needs. More and more municipalities are also putting up wireless networks for the public’s use. Hardly a day goes by at Nighthawk that we don’t make a sale of NH100’s to some wireless network provider. This remains a great and growing market for Nighthawk.

Also, you may have noticed that we filed an 8-k yesterday, announcing that we have a new director, Ray Romero, who has previously served as Nighthawk’s general counsel. Ray is a great individual and we’re lucky to have him on the board. He’ll be an asset to the Company as we grow and look to partner with other product and service providers.

Ray joins the board at the same time that Patrick Gorman and Max Polinsky leave the Nighthawk board. Max and Patrick had been with Nighthawk for several years, and helped a great deal in steering the Company through its early stages while it gained traction in its targeted markets. We plan on looking for new board members in the very near term from within our markets that we believe can help the Company continue and even accelerate its growth.

Have a great day!

NAWL Announces Aggresive Trade Show Sched

One key characteristic that we look for in any potential client company is dedication to stating what they plan on doing and actually following through on it. NatureWell Inc. (OTCBB: NAWL) has done just that since we initiated coverage on the company months ago.

By simply putting its product in front of as many healthcare and alternative care practitioners as possible through trade shows, print/email advertising, and an aggressive telephone marketing campaign; NAWL hopes to position itself as the treatment of choice for the country's more than 30 migraine headache sufferers.

Monday an Enormous Sucess For CPWB

Surging up more that 40% on above-average volume of 682,203, Challenger Powerboat (OTCBB: CPWB) may have provided us with a brief glimpse of what the future may hold.

With a complete corporate restructuring behind it, CPWB is positioning itself for a banner 2007. In recent months, Challenger has signed both international and domestic distributor agreements and continues to pursue new opportunities at the boating industry's most highly esteemed trade shows.

If the company is able to stay on task with its key strategic objectives for 2007, today's closing price, although more than 40% higher than Friday's close, could be very, very, laughable.

Commerce Planet: Finally Ready To Hit, Surpass $2?

Since we first profiled Commerce Planet, Inc. (OTCBB: CPNE) last spring at 21 cents, the company has performed better than we could have ever imagined. Hitting a high price of $1.92 today, a mere two cents off of its 52 week high, CPNE could finally be ready to reach and surpass the $2.00 mark.

Operationally & Financially Superb…..

From a purely operational standpoint, CPNE has become the prototype for success in a new era of online marketing. Each strategically developed business segment has contributed to the company’s recent growth and will continue to do so due to their synergistic nature. By keeping advertising, printing, software development, fulfillment, etc., in-house, CPNE continues to bring in some major income while remaining 100% debt-free.

Big Gains All Around For Execute Sports Inc.

For nearly a year, while others jumped ship and abandoned Execute Sports Inc. (OTCBB: EXCS), we have stuck to our guns in our belief that the company remains one of the most rapidly emerging players in the $12 billion plus action sports industry.

Another big market day boosted shares up near 34% on news that the company's watersports division is quickly becomming the creme de la creme of the U.S. market after an extremely beneficial restructuring.

At $.091 EXCS saw better days when it hit its 52 week high earlier this year, but its price months ago may not have been totally indicative or reflective of the company's financial performance and true potential to reach and surpass profitability.

It appears that the company has now assebeled a concrete corporate team, each possesing near celebrity status for their work and collaboration in their respective niches. This unique characters bring with them relationships and bonds with key personnel at companies such as Kawasaki and key retailers as well.

Simply put, Execute Sports knows action sports. This time next year, the current 52 week high may be a fraction of the current price if the company is able to reach its goals.

We suggest watching this one closely and deciding for yourself when is a good time to dip your feet in the water. One thing however is for certain, a few more days like this will put this one out of the dime range.

Check back soon for in-depth coverage of EXCS in the coming weeks.

NatureWell Inc. (OTCBB: NAWL) Up Nearly 290% in Today’s Market Activity

If this keeps up much longer, there will be more eyes on NatureWell Inc. (OTCBB: NAWL) than there will be on the SuperBowl next weekend.

Running up a whopping 287.5% in trading today on news that its aggressive marketing plan is ramping up in a major way, NAWL attracted so many investor inquiries today that we had to bring on auxiliary staff.

Today’s run should be very interesting to readers. First of all for the gains that could have been made for an investment of a few thousand dollars. Secondly, and more importantly for the fact that the company's MigraSpray, product has been proven extremely effective in scientific studies and is now positioned to tap into both the $1.5 billion dollar market for migraine remedies and the potential "untapped" $3.5 billion market for migraines prevention.

It all starts with NAWL’s aggressive growth strategy that has taken its next big step today. At this point in time, NAWL is emerging as one of the best prospects at its price. If wide-scale sample testing amongst the company’s key target market proves to be successful, the implications for share price are extremely positive.

Growth such as that exhibited today though is obviously impossible to replicate on a daily basis. However, if NAWL is somehow able to pull a few strings and become the treatment of choice for the country’s 32 million migraine sufferers, the possibilities are virtually endless. This is indeed food for thought at a fraction of a penny. Don’t you think?

NAWL Pushing Forward on Marketing Plans, Showing Nice Gains

Announcing today that the company is now shipping sample products to more than 7,500 potential customers and following them up with an aggressive telemarketing campaign, shares of Naturewell Inc. (OTCBB: NAWL) shot up nearly 50% in early trading.

It appears that investors jumped on news that the company is now pushing forward on its Natural Marketing Campaign, which could lead to significant revenue streams if sucessesful.

This should be very interesting to readers since the company's MigraSpray, product has been proven extremely effective in scientific studies and is now positioned to tap into both the $1.5 billion dollar market for migraine remedies and the and potential "untapped" $3.5 billion market for migraines prevention.

1000% Plus Gains For EXCS WaterSports Div.

What a difference a 3 months can make. Especially when you bring on industry legends like Celeste Berouty. Announcing today that 4th quarter sales for the company's watersports division are up over 1000% compared to Q4 2005 , it seems like Execute Sports Inc. (OTCBB: EXCS) is making all of the right moves.

With online sales surging and a huge new contract in place with with Kawasaki, EXCS is attracting increased investor attention while raking in some steady gains in recent trading days. Up nearly 40% in today's trading by approx 11:20 Eastern, this one may be worth taking another gander at before it becomes a more pricier investment.

NIHK Becoming an Industry Staple

By making confrontations with irate customers, and at times their trained attack dogs a thing of the past for electrical utilities, Nighthawk Systems Inc.(OTCBB: NIHK) is poised to become an industry staple.

Today's announcement of a contract with TriCounty Electric Coop in Pennsylvania exhibits the fact that NIHK is not just selling units.

NIHK is positioning itself as more of a partner than a vendor, a strategy that is now paying off greatly. As repeat customers increasingly earmark a portion of their annual budgets for NIHK products and the compan signs on customer at record rates, it looks like 2007 could be a breakout year for the company.

NIHK has succeeded at its primary objective of making potential clients aware of its technologies and their capabilities. The company is now making rapid progress on objective #2 begin rapidly and successfully implementing products and creating opportunities for next-generation offerings.

With electrical utility organizations pegged as one of a seemingly endless selection of key target demographics, NIHK is building a unique presence in the Machine To Machine (M2M) industry. Need a little more insight on M2M? Here are a few interesting links that may help:

First Responder Market Heating Up

After receiving an “F” grade on ensuring communications interoperability amongst first responders by the 9/11 committee (http://www.house.gov/stupak/100hoursleg.shtm), the pressure is now firmly on the U.S. government. With mandates likely on the horizon, the world is coming to realize the necessity of providing emergency responders with interoperable, next-generation communications infrastructure (http://www.gao.gov/new.items/d04231t.pdf).

The need for optimal communications infrastructure between first responders however, extends itself into a wide variety of markets outside the government sector. In today’s world there is an intense need for improved communications between first responders, whose job is to alleviate emergencies such as chemical spills, industrial/residential fires, and terrorist attacks.

As demand grows for new communications systems, we expect an enormous opportunity to present itself for capable suppliers. Over the next few weeks we will do our best to identify and evaluate the top players in this niche market. Check back soon for our updated coverage of today's hottest markets.

US Energy, Energas Resources Ramp Up For '07

Although an unseasonably warm winter season has contributed to a recent dip in U.S. fuel prices (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,245459,00.html), our energy crisis is far from over. With oil hitting a record high of $78.40 on the NYMEX (7/13) and an estimated 60,000 premature deaths occurring each year as a result of air pollution (U.S. Lung Association), from both an economic and humanitarian perspective, the country’s energy situation is in dire need of remedy.

Using approximately 25% and 40% of the world’s total oil and gasoline production respectively, while producing far less, the U.S. is the world’s largest consumer of oil. As we continue to guzzle gas at a record rate and increasingly rely on foreign energy, the need to produce both traditional and alternative fuels domestically as at an all time high.

For this reason, I feel that organizations currently equipped with either established oil & gas prospecting operations or cutting edge alternative fuel technologies are positioned for significant growth. Two such organizations are US Energy Initiatives Corporation (OTCBB: USEI) and Engergas Resources (OTCBB: EGSR).

USEI, an ISO-9001 certified manufacturer of patented dual-fuel diesel engines, has morphed from a fancy idea to a leading supplier and is now forecasting significant shipments in ’07 (http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/070118/0204817.html). With agreements in place with General Motors and other international partners, 2007 has all the makings of a record year for USEI.

EGSR on the other hand has been hard at work over the past few years developing an entrenched presence in the U.S. energy industry. Now boasting resource bearing operations in some of the country’s most lucrative petroleum and natural gas bearing regions such as Oklahoma and Wyoming, EGSR is well-poised for future growth.

These are two interesting energy ventures south of a dime that may be worth checking out. Check back soon for updated profile coverage.

EXCS Impresses Kawasaki. Up Big In Early Trading

Since we issued our alert at $.016, shares of Execute Sports Inc. (OTCBB: EXCS) hit an intraday high of $.075 today in early trading. Today's recent agreement with Kawasaki Motors Group has me very optimistic of what the future holds. Check out our take on the new deal:

When Kawasaki Motors Group initially commercialized its Jet Ski® , product line back in the 1970's, it is very doubtful that even the global powerhouse itself envisioned the personal watercraft (PWC) market reaching today' s heights.

$1 Billion Base

With a total market size of nearly $1 billion and a dedicated user base surpassing 20 million, the PWC segment was more or less founded by Kawasaki when it released its Jet Ski® offering, the first commercially successful PWC in the United States.

Enjoying both unparalleled levels of global brand recognition and a unique first-to-market or "grandfather" position, Kawasaki also benefits from the fact it established itself as a leader in the market's nascent stage.

Now likely the top dog out of four leading suppliers in a billion dollar (and growing) market(http://www.pwia.org/faqs/background.html) that boasts approximately 1.6 million units in use; Kawasaki is an ideal partner for suppliers of complementary products such as safety and protective gear.

EXCS Inks Deal With PWC Market Leader

Announcing an agreement today with Kawasaki Motors Corp. to design and produce a test line of Jet Ski® products for 2007, Execute Sports Inc., (OTCBB: EXCS), has aligned itself with a market leader that holds the potential to help EXCS establish itself as a key player in the $12 billion action sports industry.

With Celeste Berouty (ex-Director of sales at Body Glove) now on board and invaluable inroads being made with Kawasaki, it seems that Execute's restructuring and focus on its core capabilities are beginning to pay off in a major way.

PWC Growth

A bit of research uncovers that the PWC market grew nearly 10% during 2005, very promising when taking into consideration the fact that fuel prices (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oil_price_increases_of_2004-2006)skyrocketed to new highs after Hurricane Katrina.

Further digging also reveals that the market remained healthy in '06 with improved sales and a drop off in related accidents(http://www.pwia.org/news2006/083106.html).

After taking a quick peek at Kawasaki's 2006 annual report, we also found that the Jet Ski line is classified in the company's Consumer Products and Machinery segment, which consists largely of motorcycle, ATV, and Jet Ski shipments.

Accounting for nearly $3 billion in 20006 revenues and shipping 528,000 total units, the business segment outperformed 2005 operations by 8.4%. Furthermore, exhibiting its dominant and growing position in the region, the CPM segment's North American shipments grew by 10.6% in 2006.

Full Court Press on the PWC Market

In order to gain credibility and acceptance amongst the Generation Y demographic and PWC user population, EXCS has signed top-ranked pro PWC racer Craig Warner to help promote the line. Warner is a top competitor in the American Powerboat Association (APBA) world tour and a name that enthusiasts know.

At this point, it seems that Execute Sports Inc. (OTCBB: EXCS) has its rubber segment firing on all cylinders: With agreements in place with:

1. the top wetsuit/rubber sales executive, likely in the world;
2. one of the most well known PWC racers on the face of the planet; and
3. A leading supplier of Personal Watercraft;

We are very optimistic that 2007 could be a banner year for the company. Check back soon for updated profile coverage sure to assist you in your due diligence.

Another Big Announcement for Commerce Planet?

It seems that Commerce Planet Inc. (OTCBB: CPNE) has something up its sleeve. After the announcement today that CPNE has retained Sheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton, LLP (http://www.sheppardmullin.com/) as special corporate counsel, we can only see big things brewing. With an A-list client base that now includes 55 of the Fortune 100 companies (money.cnn.com Fortune 500 Full List), Sheppard Mullin is not only a leader in its industry but also the perfect choice to take CPNE to the next level.

So what does all of this mean? The title of this release is the only thing we need to focus on. “Commerce Planet Retains Merger and Acquisition Corporate Counsel”. From there, let’s just build a case.

First a little about Sheppard Mullin … Sheppard, Mullin, Ricther and Hampton LLP is a full service AmLaw 100 firm with 490 attorneys in nine offices located across the United States. Sheppard Mullin provides legal expertise and counsel to U.S. and international clients in a wide range of practice areas, including Antitrust, Corporate and Securities; Entertainment, Media and Communications; Finance and Bankruptcy; Government Contracts; Intellectual Property; Labor and Employment; Litigation; Real Estate/Land Use; Tax/Employee Benefits; Trusts and Estates; and White Collar Defense.

There are quite a bit of services offered here. Commerce Planet was good enough to narrow things down for us… “Merger and Acquisition”.

There are quite a bit of services offered here. Commerce Planet was good enough to narrow things down for us… “Merger and Acquisition”.

With nearly 80 years of industry experience, Sheppard Mullin is well known for its ability to revolutionize client companies by organizing and executing a variety of essential tasks such as debt financing, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic alliances.

Now move on to Thomas Hopkins. The release states that Mr. Hopkins has handled “many complex finance and merger and acquisition transaction” and lists a few, including the Hopkins/Fastclick transaction in the Pacific Coast Business Times. It is one thing to hire Sheppard Mullin. It is quite another to enlist the services of Sheppard Mullins heavy hitting attorney, Thomas Hopkins - who just happens to be a pro at Merger and Acquisitions.

With a resume of client success stories at organizations such as Jamdat, now the mobile gaming division of Electronic Arts (Nasdaq: ERTS) which did nearly $3 billion in ’06 revenues with operating income of $325 as a whole, it is tough to bet against this well established market leader as it strives towards facilitating CPNE’s growth. Only time will tell, but from here it looks like CPNE’s new counsel may hold the key that unlocks the door to Tier-one revenue potential.

Dip in Jobless Claims, Crude Prices Make For Eventful Day

After a promising 2006 in which U.S. jobless claims dropped to 4.6% for the entire year, down from 5.1% in ’05; positive news out of the Labor Department today supports the fact that our economy is still pushing along just fine.

Investor sentiment rose temporarily today as jobless claims dipped under 300K for the first time since the week of 7/22 (http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/070111/economy.html?.v=3). This decrease, although likely padded by a seasonal increase in job availability, coupled with today’s slide in crude prices which hit lows not seen since 6/05 (http://www.investors.com/editorial/IBDArticles.asp?artsec=16&issue=20070110), was enough to stir up some action.

With the major markets boasting gains this afternoon and the Dow hitting a record high, investors seem cautiously optimistic that our economy is not slowing down, at least not at an alarming rate.

Eagle Broadband Kicks Off '07 with IPTV Sales

Showing promise that cashing in on the oncoming IPTV explosion is still a strong possibility, Eagle Broadband (AMEX:EAG) announced a contract today for 500 units with a leading hospitality solutions provider (http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/070111/0202165.html). This most recent deal is with a new customer and could hold the potential for follow-up orders if initial roll-outs are successful.

With the IPTV market expected to bloom over the next 3-5 years (http://www.iptvmagazine.com/stats.html), EAG hopes to capitalize on its position as one of the only suppliers possessing Hollywood content distribution rights. Content rights coupled with Eagle’s position as one of the first companies actually implementing complete IPTV solutions should give it a chance to gain a foothold in a market that could become enormous.

As the concept of the “Digital Living Room” comes to fruition (http://www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7006047656), it seems fairly evident that IPTV will have a spot in the future of television, at least for a period of time. If EAG continues to enhance its position in the market it could be prime for acquisition or partnership with some Internet and entertainment industry big wigs looking for a quick competitive boost.

This development is of interest to many watching EAG and wondering when IPTV, its new strategic focus, would begin to yield some gains. If today’s market activity is any indicator, it seems that confidence is rising a bit in EAG’s ability to sign more IPTV related deals.

A Note From Nighthawk CEO

To all,
The following release went out this morning and announces the sale of our NH100 rebooting units to Rice University, which is in turn ‘donating’ them to the local chapter of a national nonprofit organization that provides services like wireless internet to underserved communities. It’s a great sale for us as they did some research and settled on our solution to be an integral part of their network, and I believe this project and customer will serve as a great reference for Nighthawk.
Also, so much attention is paid by investors to sales of our CEO700 wholehouse disconnect devices to utilities, but I believe that our ability to control individual devices, by themselves or in groups, will ultimately prove to be very valuable. Ultimately, I think that new regulations and demands for realtime energy pricing in the utility industry will require that both utilities and their customers have ways of controlling individual appliances, beyond the electric meter, on demand. Multiple devices instead of a single meter. We actually already give them the ability to do this with our devices such as the NH100 that Rice University will use to reboot routers. Our PT1000 gives us the unique capability of controlling multiple devices, with one single wireless message. Messages can be passed through the devices as well. As new demands for controlling electricity to and inside the house arise, I think we may be uniquely positioned to take advantage of the opportunities.
Have a great day!

Nighthawk Systems Receives Order from Rice University

SAN ANTONIO, TX – 1/11/07- Nighthawk Systems, Inc. (OTC BB: NIHK), a leading provider of intelligent wireless power management and emergency notification solutions, announced today that it has received an order for multiple NH100 wireless rebooting devices from Rice University in Houston, Texas. The NH100 units will be used to control power to digital components of a wireless internet network being built for the Houston affiliate of Technology For All, a non-profit organization that brings technology to Houston's underserved communities.

Nighthawk solutions like the NH100 enable network operators to wirelessly and conveniently extend their reach, allowing them to turn on, off or reboot remotely located equipment at any time, in seconds, from virtually anywhere. Expensive truck rolls, inconvenient site visits and third-party service contracts are no longer required with Nighthawk products in place.

H. Douglas Saathoff, Nighthawk’s CEO, stated, “The ease of use of the NH100 for cycling power to scattered network components continues to make it attractive to operators of both public and private networks. We’re very pleased to receive this order from Rice University, and doubly pleased that the units will be used for such a positive cause in the City of Houston”.

U.S. Energy Thinks Twice, Decides Against Reverse Split

After a 2006 that saw US Energy Initiatives Corporation (OTCBB: USEI) make the switch from a promising “think tank” into an actual manufacturer and shipper of duel-fuel diesel engines, a reverse stock split still seemed a likely possibility. However, after closely examining the USEI’s ’06 performance and bright ’07 outlook management cancelled the planned reverse split.

With plans stated for striving towards profitability in '07, USEI recently announced that 2006 revenues surpassed $2.5 million. The $2.5, although not exactly staggering is still more than the company’s past seven years of revenues combined (sales from ’99 – ’05 were $2.2 million).

The company seems to have future business lined up that should lead to continued growth in 2007 and beyond. A look at today’s release (http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/070110/0201754.html) provides a long list of positive factors that should influence substantial growth over the next 12-24 months. Finally disproving skeptics arguing that contracts don't always lead to shipments and sales, USEI seems to be kicking '07 off on the right foot.

Challenger Outlines Initiatives For 2007

After closing out 2006 on a very positive note (signing a new dealer contract and shipping 7 boats), Challenger Powerboats (OTCBB: CPWB) took some time yesterday to brief the world on how far it has come and where it is going. As we have mentioned before in prior editions, CPWB has emerged from an intense corporate restructuring smelling like a rose. Here is a link to the company’s most recent news: (http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/070109/nytu089.html?.v=78)

It seems to me that gone are the days of a company with some cool boats and ideas, but no sales force, significant revenues, and competent personnel. In a nutshell, CPWB has set itself up for a 2007 that could prove to be more successful that its entire history of operations combined. Underperforming business segments have been shaved off, new executives with documented success have been brought on, and solid distribution channels have been established.

Although many industry experts predict that the higher end of the boating market is softening (http://www.boating-industry.com/output.cfm?id=1191331), many leading players such as Fountain Powerboats and Brunswick Corporation are still optimistic of what 2007 has in store. Challenger is ramping up for what it hopes will be a banner year and recently outlined its strategic initiatives for the’07. These include:

- “Expanding our distribution channels by aggressively adding new dealers and distributors throughout the U.S. “

- “Continue to expand our brand awareness through boat show performances, ad campaigns, boat testing, and publications in national boating magazine”

- “Continue to allocate a portion of our budget for capital expenditures required to add further efficiencies to our overall production process and increase our profit margin”

- “Targeting a strategic acquisition that would both significantly accelerate our top-line growth as well as add accretively to earnings”

Challenger seems to be on course for some fairly significant growth with restructuring now in its rearview mirror. Need a little more info on these guys? Check out recent research on the company from Amalfi Research Group (http://www.amalfiresearch.com/report/XTME1.pdf).

Nighthawk Continues To Impress

Nighthawk Systems Inc. (OTCBB:NIHK) made some waves in the market Tuesday on news that the company has inked yet another deal with the top U.S. wireless carrier.

As a refresher, NIHK's product in demand is the PT1000 remote control board. After purchasing and successfully deploying NIHK's control boards for use in Northern New Jersey to automatically run diesel generators, the dominating wireless provider has placed an additional order to roll the units out across the entire state of New Jersey.

Although we love and value the environment every bit as much as the good people over at GreenPeace, we’ll spare you the details regarding the state of New Jersey and its restrictions on usage of diesel generators 37kW or greater in non-emergency situations. The Reader's Digest version is this: diesel generators pollute the environment and state and federal government is ramping up efforts to clean up our air and make the U.S. more environmentally friendly. In order to do so, states around the country, starting with New Jersey are beginning to mandate the automated monitoring and controlling of these machines. Hence . . . demand

A Note From NIHK President Doug Saathoff

Good morning to all. The following press release went out this morning and announces the second sale of our PT1000 remote control boards to this customer, the largest wireless company in the U.S. in terms of revenues produced. The first shipment to this customer was made this past December, and was the largest single sale made during 2006. This sale gets 2007 off to a great start! Terms of the purchases state that I cannot name the customer without their permission, but I believe that most of you know who it is by now. While I believe we could ultimately get their permission to use their name, experience has shown me that this takes a long time and I felt that it was important to let you and the public know about it sooner rather than later…
This customer will now utilize Nighthawk devices to remotely start generators at their cell sites throughout New Jersey in order to comply with new state regulations on air quality. The first order was for Northern New Jersey, and this order is for Southern New Jersey. These are two separate operating divisions of the same company. The second order was received after presentations were made internally by the Northern division to other divisions, and after some of the units were installed and successfully utilized by the Northern division. While not all states have adopted similar regulations, we feel that they will soon. This market could prove to be very beneficial to Nighthawk – other companies face similar issues within and beyond New Jersey. This customer obviously has a lot of cell sites around the country.
I’m extremely pleased to receive this second order. We were confident that they would like the product, and the level of service that we have given them in customizing the firmware in the product to meet their special needs. The second order verifies that they value what we have to offer, and they will be a great customer to showcase to other potential customers. The Nighthawk brand is out there in front of more people than ever before, and it shows in the inquiries that we get and the sales that we are making.
Have a great day!

Doug

Nighthawk Systems Receives Second Order from
Largest US Wireless Provider
-- Products For All New Jersey Cell Sites --

SAN ANTONIO, TX – 1/9/07 - Nighthawk Systems, Inc. (OTC BB: NIHK), a leading provider of intelligent wireless power control and emergency notification products, announced today that is has received a second order for its PT1000 remote control boards from one of the largest US wireless voice and data companies. Nighthawk announced in December that the customer was placing Nighthawk products at cell tower sites in Northern New Jersey. This second order will enable Nighthawk devices to be deployed at cell sites throughout the State of New Jersey.

The customer will use the PT1000’s to comply with rules recently adopted by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection that restrict the use of diesel generators on days when the air quality in New Jersey is deemed to be at unhealthy or hazardous levels. Utilizing custom firmware developed by Nighthawk specifically for the project, the customer can wirelessly turn the generators on and off on demand, ensuring that they are not tested or exercised on days when such use is prohibited.

H. Douglas Saathoff, Nighthawk’s CEO, stated, “I’m extremely pleased to receive this second order, which was placed after units from the first order were successfully installed. Their first order, which was shipped in December, was the largest single order for 2006 in terms of revenues to the Company. This second order keeps the momentum going. We hope to continue working with this customer to meet their growing needs.”

Diesel generators must be exercised regularly to ensure that they are in working order when emergencies occur. Historically, pre-set timers have been used to automatically run generators on scheduled days. The new regulations in New Jersey restrict diesel generators of 37kW or greater from being used in non-emergency situations to ensure that New Jersey’s air quality does not get worse on days with unhealthy air. Therefore, diesel generator operators must find a way to exercise the generators on allowed days, even though they cannot predict those days ahead of time.

Goals and Resolutions

Resolutions: Your Recipe for Financial Success

On a personal note, we thought we would pass on a little wisdom to our subscribers that may help make this year more productive and fulfilling.

One of my favorite things about the New Year is the opportunity to refine my goals. It is not only inspiring, but incredibly effective.

Here are five tips that will make your goals more effective and more achievable.

1. Write Goals. I wish I did not have to write this one! It seems so very simple and yet I am constantly amazed at how many people do not take an hour a year to really think through what they want. I am guilty as much as the next guy at times. But I have never missed a New Year resolution session. I feel more in control of my life when I have a clear picture of what I want. Writing goals, if nothing else, brings clarity about what you are looking for in life.

It is statistically amazing to me how many people do not even write their goals down. The only efficient way to get to a destination is with directions. Driving aimlessly may get you there, but it will take a heck of a lot longer! Ask any successful business how vital their business plan is and they will tell you it is indispensable - even if the plan is sitting in a drawer somewhere! It is not the plan that makes the difference, but the act of planning. Even if your plan is altered or scrapped altogether for a better one, it is the planning that puts your mind into action.

2. Be specific. Goals like “I will be more organized” are not only ineffective but uninspiring. Instead, break this goal into smaller, more easily attainable, goals such as “I have an efficient filing system” or “I organize one room per month” or “I hire a bookkeeper to keep me organized”. A vague goal is like knowing what city a friend lives in but thinking you can just drive around until you find their house. Create destination!

3. Always use positive, present tense. Instead of “I will earn $$$,$$$ this year” write “I earn $$$,$$$ a year”. This does two things. Firstly, it makes the goal feel real (which is half of achieving it). Secondly, it us a positive affirmation every time you say it.

4. Write your goals as often as possible. Change them. Add to them. The point is to look at them all the time. Keep them in your notebook, next to your desk, in your car. I often use them as a bookmarker. Make them part of your life and they will grow into your life. With them being in the positive, present tense, you will (even if only on a subconscious level) begin to believe them. That is half the battle.

5. If a goal seems too big, break it down. Take the time to analyze what it will take to achieve your ultimate goals. If you want to run a multimillion dollar company, it has to start somewhere. What small steps will bring you to this achievement? Do you have to write a business plan? If you want to make a million dollars in the stock market, how are you going to do it? Should you be going to seminars or reading the Wall Street Journal? A bucket gets filled drip by drip. What small steps can you make immediately that will add a drip to your bucket?

This can be a fun process. Enjoy thinking big and taking baby steps! If you have anything to add or techniques that work, we, and our subscribers, would love to hear it!

Nighthawk Still Soaring

On the heels of a blockbuster agreement with “one of the largest U.S. wireless voice and data companies”, Nighthawk Systems (OTCBB: NIHK) showed today that although controlling diesel generators will prove to be a cash cow application in the future, NIHK’s products have hundreds, possibly thousands, of applications.

Today’s most recent sale agreement is with the University of Utah Seismograph Stations (UUSS) in Salt Lake City, Utah. Nighthawk’s PT1000 remote control boards will be used to control power at seismograph stations. More than providing some foreshadowing into a future filed with contracts at seismograph stations across the country, today’s announcement again drives home the fact that NIHK continues to attract new customers with new applications at a rapid pace. Through its own sales force and now those of American Messaging and possibly Verizon Wireless, NIHK is simply getting in front of more customers than ever.

A NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Good morning and Happy New Year!
The following press release went out early this morning and announces the sale of several of our PT1000 wireless control boards to the University of Utah's Seismograph Stations (UUSS), located in Salt Lake City, Utah. UUSS operates a 100-station network of seismograph and digital communications equipment. Most of the sites are hundreds of miles from Salt Lake City, in places like Moab, Utah. Many of the sites are powered by batteries. Equipment at the sites needs to be turned on and off or rebooted on an unscheduled basis, and UUSS is now utilizing the PT1000 at some of their sites to control power to several pieces of equipment instead of incurring the time and expense of actually visiting the sites.
This is a great application for the product, and I'm hopeful that UUSS will see fit to use the equipment at many of their sites. By the way, UUSS found Nighthawk through an Internet search.
Have a great day, and I wish you all the best in 2007. I'm looking forward to a successful year!
Doug

Nighthawk Systems Receives Order from University of Utah
-- Units to Control Power at Seismograph Stations--

SAN ANTONIO, TX – 1/4/07 - Nighthawk Systems, Inc. (OTC BB: NIHK), a leading provider of intelligent wireless power control and emergency notification products, announced today that it has received an order for several of its PT1000 wireless remote control boards from the University of Utah Seismograph Stations (UUSS), located in Salt Lake City, Utah. UUSS is a participant in the Advanced National Seismic System and operates a 100-station regional seismic network serving the populations of Utah, eastern Idaho, and western Wyoming. The PT1000’s will be used to remotely control power to seismograph and network hardware located hundreds of miles away from the UUSS facility.

The PT1000 is the evolution of Nighthawk’s decade long experience with intelligent remote control and is easily integrated into networks and industrial remote control systems. The PT1000 is a popular choice for remotely controlling multiple items because of its onboard ability to decode a single wireless message, convert logic level signals and individually control eight different relays. No separate relay control board is necessary. It is also a popular choice in solar and battery powered applications because of its extremely low power requirements.

H. Douglas Saathoff, Nighthawk’s Chief Executive Officer, stated, “We’re very pleased that we can help the University of Utah Seismograph Stations more efficiently operate their widespread network of equipment. Our products provide great solutions for the special issues encountered in operating a network that includes remotely located equipment, and we hope to continue working with them to help meet their needs.”

Will Oil Remain Low?

Thanks to a warmer than usual winter, heating oil and natural gas demand has dropped dramatically. Consequently, oil prices plunged to $58.97 in midmorning trading, a drop since Friday’s closing price of $2.08.

Because of strongly growing oil demand in Asian and Middle East markets, as well as by the OPEC’s efforts to tighten supply and stabilize suppliers such as Nigeria and Iraq, analysts expect oil prices to average above $60 for 2007.

In November, OPEC agreed to a 1.2 million barrel-a-day oil output cut due to excess stockpiles and weakening demand for the black gold. Another cut of 500,000 barrels a day is scheduled to take affect on February 1st.

According to Victor Shum, an analyst with Purvin and Gertz, “For 2007, oil pricing is likely going to be stubbornly high, with the OPEC group looking like it will want to defend a $55 floor under prices." Shum even went as far as predicting crude futures to trade in the $60-65 range throughout the year and going on to say, “With ongoing geopolitical concerns such as Iran and Nigeria, the market will also tend to have buyers on the high side."

2006 saw a crude oil average price of roughly $66 a barrel. With a production increase in non-OPEC countries and sluggish economic growth in the US, analysts predict 2007 to maintain a lower crude oil price average than 2006
