Execute Sports announced this morning that June’s online sales volume has more than tripled since its March launch through leading retailers including Dick’s Sporting Goods, The Sports Authority, Sport Chalet, Sports R Us, GI Joe’s, Modell’s, Fog Dog, MVP, MC Sports, Dunham’s, Buy.com, City Sports, Blades Board Sports and Olympia.
The action sports industry currently represents more than $12 billion in annual sales!
Execute Sports is also preparing to launch an entry level line of wakeskates under the “Execute” brand which will premiere at the Surf Expo in Orlando this September. “The wakeskate line will provide consumers with leading wakeskate technology developed by the team that produces our Kampus brand for the pro specialty markets, but offers the boards at entry level prices,” said Execute’s Geno Apicella.
Execute has done nothing but grow, grow, grow! Academy Snowboards increased its Japanese market presence by over 100%. The Japanese market represent an estimated 4.5 million snowboarders, with annual hard goods sales alone of nearly a billion dollars. They have also managed to get test orders with MarineMax (NYSE: HZO), Boaters World, and into approximately 50 stores with Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation (NasdaqNMS: BGFV). Big 5 operates more than 325 stores in 10 states.
The European market for snowboards is estimated to be a $100 million annual market!
Academy Snowboards has managed to produce some remarkable sales growth numbers. Total domestic sales grew by approximately 87% and 191% in domestic same store sales. Eurpoean sales are up 181% with total International sales up 51% year to date.
The watersports footwear market is a $150 million annually industry!
More recently, the company has added industry veteran Todd Hahn as CEO, . Mr. Hahn brings with him years of experience with many cutting edge companies. Most recently the Familie, a leading action sports agency owned by Wasserman Media.
An agreement with industry leader Jet Pilot, Inc.
Under the terms of the agreement, Execute’s subsidiary, Kampus Wakeskates, will build a wakeskate and racing boot line for Jet Pilot. The footwear will be embedded with its patent-pending Kampus Drain System (KDS) technology.
The mere fact that Jet Pilot chose Kampus to build the product line is a huge compliment from a credible source.



Despite the inertia that seeps into every traders brain when they have an active trading morning, keep in mind that your risk/reward ratio changes throughout the day… dramatically!
A weaker volume market is a more volatile market and a more volatile market is harder to trade when using any type of trading system (which you are… right?). Remember that the first hour after market open and the last hour before market close are the strongest and most trend following hours of the entire trading day. The hours in between should only be traded by savvy and impeccably disciplined traders who do not mind twiddling their thumbs in order to keep from getting trigger happy.
