    Investment Highlights

Titan Iron Ore Corp. (TFER) on Wednesday jumped 3.20% to close the session at $1.29, stretching gains into a fifth day.  Over 3.53  million shares traded hands during the session, versus the 30-day average volume of over 861K.  TFER is currently above its 50-day and 200-day moving averages, both set at $1.20.

Shares of the Lynwood, WA-based junior exploration stage mining company have gained 31.0% in the last five days; 6.6% in the last month; and 18,982.8% year-to-date.

TFER traded higher in late February after announcing results from drilling hole #2 of its winter 2011 drilling programs from the Strong Creek Fe/To deposit at the Wyoming Iron Complex located in Albany County, Wyoming. The Company reported that the results showed the average iron oxide concentration is potentially economic material in terms of its iron and titanium content despite some local variability in the assays.

Andrew Brodkey, president of Titan Iron Ore, commented that the Company continues to be encouraged with the results of the drilling and assays from its Phase 1, 3-hole drilling program on the Strong Creek property, the larger of the two deposits within the Wyoming Iron Complex controlled by Titan. According to him, ore grade iron mineralization was found throughout the first two holes, from top to bottom and TFER is initiating more comprehensive metallurgical tests with SGS Lakefield to determine the methodology to recover concentrates of both magnetite and ilmenite from the Strong Creek materials.

Initial testing performed by Hazen Research in 1993 focussed entirely on production of a high quality ilmenite (Titanium) concentrate and did not optimize the circuit to recover iron ore, he added.

In January, TFER announced it has completed a non-brokered private placement of about 1.33 million at $0.75 per unit, for total gross proceeds of over $1 million.  The company said it intends to use proceeds from the offering as an interim financing to fund exploration at the Wyomex Iron Complex project. The interim financing follows the first private placement tranche which was completed via unit offering in June of last year, for gross proceeds of over $1.05 million.
