Investment Highlights
- CCTC’s technology has been developed in conjunction with its scientific technology consultant, SAIC, a Fortune 500 company considered to be one of the world’s leading energy consulting and scientific firms, whose clients includes the U.S. Department of Energy and other global energy companies.
- On December 31, 2007, CCTC signed a contract with Benham Engineering (a wholly owned subsidiary of Science Applications International Corp. – SAIC) to provide the engineering design, procurement and construction services for CCTC clean coal plants in China.
- Benham Engineering has completed the conceptual design and cost estimates for the CCTC plant on schedule. As a result of this engineering effort, CCTC is in the process of filing additional patents in the United States and internationally, including China.
- The Company entered into a landmark joint-venture contract to build a plant in China with an initial, annual capacity of 1.5 million short tons in a new industrial park. The Chinese government is funding the multi-billion dollar joint venture in order to turn China’s abundant low grade coal resources into petroleum products. The plant will be expanded to provide a final capacity of 80.0 million short tons per annum. The plant will supply coal with 90% of the pollutants pre-removed for use in power stations and to manufacture fuel and lubricants.
- In addition to China, CCTC is exploring similar opportunities in Inner Mongolia, India, Malaysia and the United States.
Concern over the effects of airborne pollution, green house gases, and the impact of global warming has become a worldwide issue that transcends international boundaries, politics and social responsibility. CCTC patented technology promises to dramatically reduce the contaminants and pollutants that are problematic for burning coal.
With CCTC’s technology, coal becomes a cost-effective, efficient and extremely clean-burning fuel that could potentially reduce dependency upon oil. Over time, as utilities, power plants and manufacturers shift to clean coal, CCTC can achieve major advances in reducing pollution throughout the globe, and become the worldwide emission standard for future plants.
For countries with significant coal deposits, the result could also result in a reduced dependency upon oil and foreign suppliers. Additionally, as in the case of the United States, CCTC technology could provide an excellent export opportunity for clean domestic coal products.
The CCTC patented multi-stage process transforms coal with high levels of impurities, contaminants and other polluting elements into an exceptionally efficient, clean and inexpensive source of high energy, low polluting fuel.
The reduction in airborne pollution and contaminants is dramatic – Up to 90% in some test cases. By-products of the process are captured and can be sold on the secondary chemical market as an additional value-add. One by-product, methane gas, is re-introduced into CCTC’s plant as a fuel source to reduce dependency on external energy resources.

Technical Analysis

CCTC is below its 13-day moving average. This bearish sign is even more significant because the moving average is also trending lower.
CCTC is trading within its Bollinger Bands. This is a normal condition and suggests that the stock is neither overbought nor oversold relative to the recent price action.
CCTC’s MACD is currently indicating a weak bullish signal. Although the MACD is trending above the signal line, the indicator is still below zero, which suggests that the underlying moving averages are bearish.
